Does Jesus' resurrection prove that he is God?
The resurrection of Jesus was intended to confirm that he is the Savior promised by GOD and that in him alone lies the salvation of humanity. In the time between his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus was dead; i.e. without consciousness. But because Jesus was sinless, death had no power over him. Therefore, Jesus was given the privilege by GOD to be the first to rise from the dead so that his body would not see corruption. But it was GOD the Father who raised Jesus from the dead; not himself. Jesus rose because he was raised by GOD the Father. After his resurrection, Jesus received the power or privilege from GOD to raise the remaining dead at his return.
